Nex Pest Control built its Athens reputation on showing up when we say we will, quoting one flat price, and standing behind the work with a written guarantee.
We didn't start out trying to be the biggest name in Athens pest control — we started by answering calls nobody else wanted to take on a Sunday night, and that's still who we are.
We keep our Athens crew small enough that the technician who inspects your home is the same one who treats it, and often the same one who returns for the follow-up.
We'd rather lose a job to an honest "you don't need that treatment yet" than oversell a Athens homeowner on something their situation doesn't call for.
None of this replaces an actual on-site inspection, but knowing Athens's pest patterns ahead of time means fewer wasted visits and faster answers for you.
Here's what tends to show up right before a Athens homeowner finally picks up the phone.
None of these are emergencies by themselves — but stacking up together is the Athens homeowner's cue that this needs a real inspection. A quick phone call and a same-day inspection usually costs less time and money than months of chasing symptoms with store-bought products.
Six service lines, one Athens crew — here's what we're dispatched for most.
A wasp nest by the front door or a rodent sighting near a newborn's room doesn't wait for business hours — our Athens emergency line is answered around the clock and dispatch is prioritized by risk, not by who called first. Our dispatcher asks a couple of quick questions to gauge urgency, then routes genuinely urgent Athens cases ahead of standard scheduling.
We treat the foundation line, utility entry points, and interior hot spots of Athens homes on a schedule built around what your specific property actually attracts, not a generic quarterly template. Plans can be adjusted mid-season if a Athens property starts attracting something new — the schedule isn't locked once it's set.
Commercial Pest Control accounts get discreet placements and a paper trail — every visit logged, every finding reported, so you're never caught off guard by an inspector's question. Multi-location Athens accounts get one consistent point of contact instead of juggling separate vendors per site.
We check the soil line, crawl space, and framing for mud tubes and wood-to-soil contact, then recommend either a liquid barrier or bait station system based on what's actually found. Bait stations installed on the property get checked on a monitoring schedule, so new activity is caught early instead of at next year's visit.
We handle mice, rats, and the occasional squirrel or raccoon with humane methods and permanent exclusion work, not a one-and-done trap drop. Exclusion materials include hardware cloth, steel wool, and sealant rated for permanent structural gaps, not a temporary patch.
Monthly barrier treatment through Athens's peak season targets both standing-water breeding sources and the shaded resting spots where adult mosquitoes actually hide during the day. One-time treatments ahead of an outdoor event can usually be scheduled within a day or two.
A short call to +1-844-564-2570 is usually all it takes to get a technician on the calendar. Tell dispatch what you've noticed and where — it helps us send a technician already prepared for the likely cause.
A technician walks the property, identifies what's actually there, and shows you the entry point. You'll see exactly what was found, in plain language, before any recommendation is made.
You'll see one flat number before any product goes down — no per-visit surprises later. If the scope changes once we're inside, that gets quoted separately before we proceed, never added silently.
If anything's still active after the guarantee window, we're back at no extra charge. Follow-up visits are already on the calendar before the technician leaves, not something you have to call back to arrange.
Every Athens quote is written down and agreed to before any treatment begins, period. Ask any Athens customer and they'll tell you the invoice matched the quote, no exceptions.
Local dispatch means less drive time and more slots available for Athens same-day calls. Dispatch can usually give you a two-hour arrival window rather than an all-day wait.
Every Athens technician carries state licensing and our company's liability coverage — ask to see it at the door. Insurance coverage protects your property in the rare event something goes wrong — most companies won't tell you that upfront.
If the treated pest is still active after the guarantee window, we come back and re-treat at no charge. We'd rather absorb the cost of a re-treat than lose a Athens customer's trust over a technicality.
Nights, weekends, holidays — the Athens emergency line is staffed and answered, not routed to voicemail. Emergency pricing is quoted just as clearly as a daytime visit — urgency never means a hidden markup.
Our technicians have inspected enough Athens attics and crawl spaces to know what's typical for your street before they even arrive. It's the difference between a generic national script and a plan built around what actually happens in Athens.
We put the guarantee in writing on every Athens service agreement — if the pest we treated for is still active after the recommended window, we return and re-treat at no charge.
This isn't a lifetime promise on every pest forever, but within the stated window it's unconditional — no forms to fill out, no argument about whether it counts. Ask any technician on our Athens crew and they'll tell you the same thing — the guarantee exists so calling back is never a hassle.
Called about roaches at 8pm on a Friday and honestly expected a voicemail. Got a real person and a technician the next morning.
Appreciated that they explained exactly what species we had instead of just quoting a generic treatment.
Mice in the garage turned out to be coming through a gap under the door frame — sealed same visit, no return trip needed.
Our restaurant needed a documented program before our next health inspection and they had it set up within the week.
Called the emergency line at night and someone actually picked up, which mattered more than I expected.
They found a clogged gutter section holding water that we never would have thought to check ourselves.
We'd fought the same ant problem for two seasons before calling. One inspection found what years of DIY spraying missed.
Our property management company needed a standing service across six units and Nex Pest Control set up one consistent schedule with a single point of contact.
No matter which part of Athens you're calling from, a licensed technician can typically reach you the same day. We route technicians daily across Athens, so location within our coverage zone rarely adds to your wait time. Older neighborhoods with mature trees and newer developments on former farmland both fall under the same Athens coverage zone, even though the pest pressure differs between them.
A same-day visit is available for most of Athens if you call before early afternoon.
Pricing is never an hourly guess; it's a flat quote tied to the inspection findings.
Nights and weekends get the same licensed technician standard as a daytime call, just faster dispatch.
